I must do something to keep you interested in me. I'd hate to suddenly become boring just because we've Bonded.

Fool. You don't have to cook to keep me interested. I still don't know much about you, you realize.

[He offers a small huff of amusement.]

And I'll assert as I did before: I'm not all that interesting. There's nothing exciting to be told, though I'll gladly fill you in on my background and, I suppose, my prior combat abilities.

[He texts her a short list of vegetables.]

I've acquired the spices already, though I have yet to test out the amounts. You'll have to be my test subject. How brave are you feeling?

[She laughed quietly. Oh, the vegetables were easy enough to get. It also gave her a hankering for expanding her home garden, maybe get some planters when she could afford it. She didn't think Somnus would mind.]

Considering we're talking about Bonding, something I had planned not to do-quite brave. I want to see you go wild in the kitchen tonight.
